A primary school that has been abandoned for over 10 years has become a paradise for street artists. Almost every inch of the inner and outer walls of the school building is occupied by graffiti. The basketball rack in the middle has fallen, and the classrooms are empty except for graffiti.
The school was established in 1952 and closed in 2007. The school compound has not been utilised since. The site is close to a MTR station with good transport infrastructure. It covers an area of 0.8 hectares. As Hong Kong government did not rezone the site for public housing or other transitional housing purposes, it means that the land is not fully utilised.
Urban exploration is based on the principles of take nothing except picture, leave no trace and not revealing the location.
