港澳辦記招闡述立場全無新意 China's Hong Kong Office Restates Support for City Government & Police

國務院新聞辦公室舉行新聞發布會，由發言人楊光闡述立場，支持特區政府依法施政及警隊嚴正執法，譴責暴力等，沒有重大政策宣布，亦沒有解决方法。

國務院新聞辦公室今午3時舉行新聞發布會，由港澳辦新聞發言人楊光、徐露穎「介紹對香港當前局勢的立場和看法」，並回應記者提問。

楊光指中央堅定支持特區政府依法施政及警隊嚴正執法，譴責暴力等，沒有重大政策宣布，亦沒有解決方法。中央藉此有系統地闡述立場，尤其針對西方勢力、本港反對派，並對外宣示中央對港有真正話語權。

全國港澳研究會副會長劉兆佳稱，今次國務院新聞辦召開記者會講述香港當前局勢，實屬罕見，即使2014年佔領運動亦未有這做法。

China’s top office for handling Hong Kong affairs held a press conference in Beijing on Monday to express “its stance and views on Hong Kong’s current situation.”

It was the first time that the State Council’s Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office held a press briefing on the city since it was established in 1997. None even during the 2014 Occupy/Umbrella Movement.

The office’s spokesperson Yang Guang restates Beijing’s support for the Hong Kong government and Police while condemning the actions of anti-extradition law protesters over recent weeks, saying that they “exceeded the boundaries of acceptable protest.” No new policy or solution was offered.
