晚上6:30，數百人在沙田新城市廣場中庭共四層聚集，高舉「光復香港 時代革命」黑旗及殖民地時代旗幟，並高唱《願榮光歸香港》，展示對抗爭「五大訴求 缺一不可」熱情未減。
晚上7點，在預定示威的開始時間之前，數百名防暴警察進入新城市廣場，中斷了抗議並清理了中庭區域。 抗議者和購物市民四散。 防暴警使用胡椒噴霧，至少有一名記者被傷及眼晴，由急救人員搶救。

Following Friday’s Central Flashmob at IFC, Sing with You at Citiplaza on Sunday, and Sing with You at IFC on Tuesday, Lunch with You at Landmark on Wednesday the fifth wave of protests has revived with “Sing with You” flashmob at the New Town Plaza in Shatin, at 7:30 pm today.
At 6:30 pm, hundreds of protesters started gathering at all 4 levels of New Town Plaza in Shatin. They raised the black flags “Free Hong, Revolution of Our Time”, colonial Hong Kong flag and sang “Glory to Hong Kong”, demonstrating they are resolute in “5 Demands, Not One Less” in their protest.
At 7 pm, before the scheduled start, hundreds of riot police in full gear entered New Town Plaza and disrupted the protest and cleared the atrium area. Protesters and shoppers dispersed. Pepper sprays were deployed and at least 1 journalist was hit on his eyes, who was then treated by first-aiders.
